SALMON SHARK – RACE BOARD

Recommended length ~ 12’6″ to 14’0″
Displacement Hull – Most riders would refer to the pointed nose or ‘displacement hull’.
This feature will allow the board to slice through the water for increased stability and speed.
This board will perform best in flat water conditions but also allows the board to cut through
chop and give you a more powerful push with each paddle stroke.
Narrow Profile – The board will be more narrow than a traditional paddle board, this sleek
design decreases drag and overall weight allowing the board to move faster and be more
fluid in the water. Recommended widths are anywhere from 25″- 32″.
Longer Length – Length will determine the performance of the board and allow for straighter
and swifter movement.
More Volume / Thicker Profile – Due to the narrow profile on race boards, they make up for
that lost volume in their thickness. The thickness will allow the board to be more stable allowing
the rider to concentrate on the race not standing on the board.
Salmon Shark comes standard with a center fin box and thermotech futures fin.

when pushed.
